AZ Early Voting Ballot Request Problem

Maricopa County, Arizona is currently Accepting Early Voting Ballot Requests for the AUGUST 28, 2018 Primary.

independents are Eligible to Participate. Those Not Affiliated with any Political Party will not Automatically receive a Ballot. Voters have a choice: They simply need to respond to the Postcard they receive Requesting a "City-Only" Ballot or a Partisan Ballot of their choice for that Election only. The other option is to Request the Early Ballot On-line.

Nearly 2,000 Voters did not Receive their Early Voting Ballots they Requested due to a Website Malfunction, according to Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes.

“We discovered the system was reporting which Independent voters were requesting early ballots, but not what type of ballots they were selecting,” Fontes said. “The office has been reaching out by Email and Mail to those Voters to inform them of the Situation and ensure we send them the Correct Ballot.
