NY Independence Party Fails to Submit Candidate for NYC Mayoral Ballot

The New York Independence Party will not have a Candidate for New York City Mayor on this year’s Ballot.

In an embarrassing snafu, the Party didn’t Submit any Nominating Petitions for Mayor to the Board of Elections before the midnight Thursday Deadline.

Its preferred Candidate, Real Estate Executive Paul Massey, dropped out of the Race two weeks earlier without being replaced.

As of April, 2017, the Independence Party had 103,585 Active Registered Voters in the Big Apple.
