Republicans Snuck This in Health Care Reform

Last night, Congressional Republicans snuck in an Amendment to their second attempt at Health Care Repeal that would Exempt Members of Congress from their efforts to Rollback Health Care Coverage.

And it’s already won Paul Ryan the support of the House Freedom Caucus to move it through Congress.

We should not allow Republicans to create one set of Special Rules for Congress, while passing a Health Care Bill that would hurt everyone else.

Thanks to ObamaCare, insurers can’t Deny Coverage to people with Pre-Existing Coverage. Insurance Plans are also required to Cover Essential services like Maternity Care and Mental Health Care.

Now Republicans in Congress want to roll back those Protections for Middle Class families, but not for themselves!

Congressional Republicans know just how harmful their Health Care Repeal Pplan would be, and that’s why they’re trying to quietly Opt-Out. We can’t let them get away with it.

Tell the GOP: if you like the Protections of ObamaCare enough to keep them for Yourselves, then don’t repeal ObamaCare for others.
