Activists Set Date for Next Big Anti-Trump Rallies

Activists are hoping to keep the momentum alive after a weekend of protest marches and rallies aimed at President Trump.

While last weekend’s marches focused on women’s Fights, activists on social media are hoping to use a rally on April 15th to pressure the President into releasing his Tax Returns.

During the Campaign, Trump repeatedly promised to release his returns. However, White House Senior Adviser Kellyanne Conway said on Sunday that he no longer planned to do so because “people don’t care.”

That inspired the calls for a protest on April 15th, which would normally be Tax Day, but because it falls on a Saturday, and since Emancipation Day follows, taxes will actually be due on April 18th this year.

Several people proposed the date on Twitter, and the idea quickly gained steam.

So a Tax Day Protest in D.C. and at Local IRS offices around the Country to demand that Trump release his Tax Returns are in the works.
