NC Gov. Pat McCrory has Conceded Governor's Race

North Carolina GOP Gov. Pat McCrory has conceded the Governor's race to Democratic Attorney General Roy Cooper, almost a full month after Election Day.

"Despite continued questions that should be answered regarding the voting process, I personally believe that the majority of our citizens have spoken and we should now do everything we can to support the 75th governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper," McCrory said.

The contentious race dragged into a weeks-long canvassing of the State, as Provisional and Absentee ballots were tabulated.

But Cooper's margin of victory continued to creep up, from about 5,000 votes on Election Day to over 10,000 today.
