U.S. Term Limit Convention

First, the Term Limits Convention bill has been filed in Michigan by State Rep. Tom Barrett. It's now scheduled for a Committee hearing in the Michigan House on Wednesday, November 9th. Volunteers and activists from all over Michigan will be in attendance to make the case for why Congressional Term Limits are so important.

If Michigan passes the resolution, it will join Florida in calling for a Convention to rein in career politicians and impose Term Limits on Congress.

We're also seeing candidates on both sides of the aisle discuss Term Limits on the Campaign trail. In addition to Trump's "Drain the Swamp" plan, candidates for the U.S. Senate have come out for this.

Senators Pat Toomey (PA), Rand Paul (KY), Kelly Ayotte (NH), and Marco Rubio (FL) are emphasizing their strong support.

Democratic Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ) has signed the U.S. Term Limits pledge in her "David v. Goliath" Campaign against 30-year incumbent John McCain.

U.S. Term Limits has expanded its footprint to account for the surge in support we're seeing. They just added grassroots leaders in Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. The movement is growing.
