According to reports, the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has reported that yesterday they processed 59,018 Voter Registration transactions, quadruple the previous record volume.
New Yorkers who have a driver license or non-driver DMV card have until midnight to register.
Gov. Cuomo directed the creation of the On-Line Voter Registration system as one of his very first initiatives when he became Governor in 2011.
