The New York Green Party (GPNY) Statewide Nominating Convention takes place on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 10am – 6pm, at Oakwood Community Center, 313 Tenth St., Troy, NY 12180, where they will be voting for the Green Party Presidential nominee, among other important decisions.
Enrolled Green Party members will vote for their preferred Presidential candidate to receive the Green Party nomination at their National Convention in Houston, TX from August 4-7. They will also vote on a renewed 2016 State Platform and choose delegates to appear at the National Convention.

- Hear from candidates seeking the GPUS Presidential nomination.
- Participate in workshops to get the tools you need to run effective campaigns and build your local party.
- Featured guest speakers from NY social movements.
The are proving for those who cannot make it to the Convention a form to request an absentee ballot to vote for President.

You should receive a link to download the absentee ballot within minutes of completing the request form. Please print, complete and mail in your ballot to the address provided with a postmark of Monday, May 30 to guarantee that your ballot will be counted at the convention!
They ask that you please do not directly forward your ballot PDF or download link, as they need a record of the request for a ballot.
