Centrist Project Endorses Independent Margaret Stock for U.S. Senate from Alaska

I became a member of The Centrist Project in 2014.

With increasingly evolving and tumultuous times, Americans keep innovating. Breakthroughs are happening all around us. So how has our country’s strongest foundational entity become the exception?

Congress is at a crossroads: two parties, zero results. We must break through political gridlock.

Welcome to the Centrist Project, a movement of innovators primed to bring real change to this country. Fueled by a tangible strategy that will swing the vote in order to balance the power in Congress. It will ensure the decisions made in Congress represent real people and enable changes that are right for our nation—not right for a party.

And all it takes is five. Five Independent, Centrist Senators with rational principles like fiscal responsibility and social tolerance. The five who will drive meaningful change that not only benefits, but unites, our country—today and tomorrow.

“We want to empower the middle. 43% of Americans now describe themselves as independent. My vision is to give a home to people who just want to make things better through the political system, who are not hyper-partisan, who want to take back the system from those who have hijacked it. We’re a movement of folks who share this pragmatism and have a problem solving approach. Please join us today.” - Charlie Wheelan, Founder.

The Centrist Project has official endorsed Independent candidate Margaret Stock in her race to win a U.S Senate seat in Alaska.

We are excited to endorse Margaret for two reasons. First, she is an incredibly impressive individual that served her country for 28 years in the U.S Army Military Police Corps, earned three degrees from Harvard, and won the 2013 MacArthur "Genius Grant" for her legal work on immigration and national security. And second, since over 50% of Alaskan voters are not registered with either of the Major Parties Stock's candidacy presents an opportunity for independent voters to support a qualified candidate without a 'D' or 'R' next to their name

Here at Centrist we like to say that the cracks have been forming in the dam that the parties built to keep themselves in power. I think we are starting to see the water come through.
