New FEC Filings to Run in 2016 Presidential Election

Mitt Romney has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to run in the current election and may be trying to block Trump so he does not get the Republican nomination. This does not mean he has to run for President but it allows him to leave his options open.

A “Statement of Organization” was filed with the FEC for an organization called, “Romney for President, Inc.” It was filed by Red Curve Solutions.

A new super PAC has filed its paperwork to pull off a singular goal: To get Paul Ryan into the White House. The PAC, called "Committee To Draft Speaker Ryan," was filed with the Federal Election Commission on Thursday.

David Satterfield, the man listed on the FEC filing, declined to comment but said that more news about the PAC would be coming Friday.
