Is Ted Cruz Still a Cuban Citizen?

At the time of Cruz's birth, he had citizenship of three countries, U.S. from his mother, Cuba from his father, and a natural born Canadian.

His Canadian citizenship was official rescinded in 2014.

I think he has U.S. citizenship from his mother after all the documents I have seen.

But under Cuban law, Article 29:

Cuban citizenship is acquired by birth or through naturalization:

iii. - those born abroad, one of whose parents at least is Cuban, who have complied with the formalities stipulated by law;

His father became a Canadian citizen in 1973, after Cruz's birth:

ARTICLE 32 - Dual citizenship is not recognized. Therefore, when a foreign citizenship is acquired, the Cuban one will be lost.

So is Cruz still a Cuban citizen?

The answer is NO!

At birth, Cruz was a Canadian, U.S., and Cuban citizen. Under Cuban Article 32, he lost his Cuban citizenship. In 2014 his rejected his Canadian citizenship. So he is U.S. citizen.
