Americans feel more disconnected from their government than ever before. Congress acts with a shocking disregard for our collective best interest. That is the symptom. Here is the problem: a well-connected few are pulling the strings because our campaign finance system lets them buy influence. As long as this system remains intact, our voice won’t be heard.
