Four new bills were introduced on Friday in the Assembly relating to the 2016 Presidential Primary date, including:
A 8308 – June 7th - Combination Democratic Presidential Primary & All Party Federal Primary with an April 19th Republican Presidential Primary
A 8309 – May 3rd Presidential Primary Only
A 8310 – April 19th Presidential Primary Only
A 8311 – Chapter amendment to A 8310
The Assembly previously introduced:
A 8251 – April 26th Presidential Primary Only
A 8256 – April 26th Combination Federal Primary/Presidential Primary
The Assembly and Senate return to Albany tomorrow. Whether action will be taken on these bills is unknown.
