2015 8th National Conference of Independents in NY

The 8th Biennial National Conference of Independents is on March 14th at the SKIRBALL Center of Performing Arts, New York University from 9am to 5pm, and is FREE.

It is sponsored by independentvoting.org.

“It’s very important that the grassroots activist leaders of the independent movement, with all of your viewpoints, and all of your experience, and all of your inspiration and aspiration come together at this time to learn from one another, to spend time together and show that there is a solid base of support in America from every walk of life, for the independent and nonpartisan reform movement.”  (Jackie Salit on the upcoming National Conference of Independents).

Who should come to the Conference of Independents?

- Independent activists engaged in statewide efforts.

- Independent-minded Americans who believe we need to change the culture of politics in this country.

- Independent-minded Americans angry at the failures in public policy and frustrated that our voices can’t be heard.

- Americans who believe we need structural political reforms like open primaries.

- Americans who are looking for a place to invest their activism in efforts that can have a real impact.
