The Independent Voter Project and IndependentVoting.org announce the formation of a new coalition, EndPartisanship.org.
The coalition will bring together organizations from across the political spectrum for the exclusive purpose of ending party control of our elections and protecting the voting rights of all voters.
Ben Swann, of the Truth In Media Project, explains how the new coalition of EndPartisanship.org is working to break the 2 party hold on primary elections, which currently lock around 50% of voters out of the process. Plus, Ben details a lawsuit that has now been filed in the state of New Jersey to break that hold.
I could not have said it better.

In New Jersey, any independent is free to choose either major party's primary ballot, but if a voter does choose one, then he or she is automatically listed as a party member. But the voter can then fill out a new voter registration again becoming an independent.
