Showering NY State Senators with Fake Dollar Bills

Yesterday, Josh Silver the Director of Represent.Us, showered New York State Senators with thousands of fake dollar bills, to help pressure them into passing an anti-corruption law called the Fair Elections Act.

While he did it, he was surrounded by activists dressed up as money. In the New York Senate money talks, so they decided to talk to them in the only language they seem to understand.

They were in New York alongside more than 100 activists from Represent.Us, as well as Fair Elections NY. They are the folks who have been working tirelessly to pass the NY proposal, and if they succeed, it would bolster the entire anti-corruption movement.

If you’re inspired by their action, email them at info@represent.us with your ideas for an action in your community or state capital, and they might even send you money costumes!
