My wife, Barbara, and I went on a long planned trip to Istanbul from 8/31 to 9/6. I will tell everyone the reason we were able to take this trip later this month.
We stayed in the historic district of Sultanahmet and saw the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar Quarter, museums, and took a boat trip up the Bosphorus to a fishing village, called Poyrazkoy, on the Asian side of Istanbul on the Black Sea.
