During the 2006 midterm elections, the Democrats where given the chance to take over Congress and stop the war. So in 2007 when they where not able to override the President with a veto, the voters complained with giving the Congress a very low negative rating.
But who's at fault? True, Democrats won many seats but not enough. By missing the mark, the voters missed their opportunity. They left their hopes, the Democrats, without the necessary votes to override the president.
So what will they do next time? What do you recommend?
