European Governments believe Russia Cannot Avoid Negotiations Indefinitely, and Expect to take part in the Process if it Resumes.
“A window is slowly opening for talks between the European side and Russia,” German Government Sources as saying.
The London Meeting is expected to Help European Allies Prepare for such a Scenario.
On 6/5/2026, Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s Diplomatic Team was Preparing Meetings with European Partners and the U.S. that “could be useful.”
Zelenskyy said Kyiv knows Europe is Preparing New Steps to Support Ukraine.
The Meeting was currently Scheduled for the Evening of 6/7/2026, However, the Plans could Change, and the Date could be Moved.
The Initiative came after Zelenskyy Proposed New Ttalks with Vladimir Putin, Publishing an Open Letter to Him on 6/4/2026. Putin, however, Refused to hold a Meeting at the Leaders’ Level, all Metings in Moscow.
