A Lawless DOJ

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is in a Crisis. At a level that Havn't been seen in Decades. Not sence 1975, when U.S. Attorney General John Mitchell was Prosececuted and Convicted for Conspiracy and Obstruction of Justice related to Watergate, has there been a more Toxic and Chaotic Environment at the Department.

The Current DOJ has pushed Career Lawers to Leave. The Justice Connection, a Network of Former DOJ Employees, Estimates that Roughly 6,400 Workers across the Department have been Terminated or Left their Positions Voluntarily. Under Bondi, the Job has changed from Fact-Finding Investigations to Finding "facts to fit the Narrative".

Hundreds of Military Officers from the Judge Advocate General's Corps are now Filling in, some Temporarly Serving as Immigration Judges and others as Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys, a Role that DOJ Policy Barred Outside a Military Base.

Today, the DOJ No Longer Reflects the Role that Congress intended it to Play. The Steady Weaponizing of the DOJ to do Trump's Bidding Has Weakened its Integrity, Tarnished its Trustworthiness, and Dangerously Undermined its Credibility.
