KY Victory for Voters

Kentucky has traditionally been a State that Only Allows Voters to Cast their Ballot on Election Day, unless you have an Excuse such as Military Service or Illness.

But Governor Andy Beshear (D), will give Kentuckians the Ability to Vote Absentee this Election.

Within One week, an Online Portal will become Available that will allow All Voters to Sign-Up for an Absentee Ballot. You Only need to cite Concern about Spreading or Contracting COVID-19 in Order to be Eligible. Voters will have until October 9th to Request an Absentee Ballot on the Website.

Drop Boxes will also be made Available for those who are worried about, their Ballot being Lost or Delivered Late by the Postal Service. County Clerks will decide where there are Located in their Counties.

In addition, Early Voting will be made Available to All Kentucky Voters starting October 13th, and it will be required to be Open 6 Days a week, with at least 4 hours Available on every Saturday.

Mail Ballots must be Postmarked by Election Day, Nov. 3rd, and Received by Nov. 6th.

On Election Day, Counties will Offer more In-Person Polling Places than in June, when Fayette and Jefferson Counties witnessed Backups at their Single Polling Sites. Plans to scale back the Polls must be Approved by the Governor and Secretary of State. Each County will also have One Voting "Super Center," where Residents from Any Precinct can Vote.

Also of Great Importance, is the fact that People who could Not get an ID because the County Clerk’s Office was Closed or because they were Afraid of Contracting COVID-19, will be able to Sign a Document explaining their Concern, and Cast their Ballot.
