NYS Assembly Passed New York Health Act (A.4738)

The New York State Assembly passed the New York Health Act (A.4738).

The Bill would create a Universal Single Payer Health Care system in New York.

It is the third year in a row it passed the State Assembly.

Today's successful vote proves that Universal, Public Health Care is a corner stone of New York's Progressive Grassroots agenda.

Next is to make progress in the Senate. So far this session, 10 more Co-Sponsors were added for a new high of 30 Senate Co-Sponsors, 32 are needed to pass New York Health Act (S4840).
